2014 CAMP SCHEDULE

Week July 14-18 9am-12noon (pick-up between 12-12:15)
Theme: Horses Wild—Learn how to draw and paint horses both closeup and in action.
FOR AGES 9-16 DEADLINE TO REGISTER: July 16th
Week July 21-25 9am-12noon (pick-up between 12-12:15)
Theme: African Safari--Capture African animals on paper and canvas to create your own African Safari.
FOR AGES 4-11 DEADLINE TO REGISTER: July 23rd
Week July 28-Aug 1 9am-12noon (pick-up between 12-12:15)
Theme: Garden Flowers and Frogs—Learn how to draw and paint your favorite garden creatures & flowers.
Scriptures:
We do not represent or recommend any particular religious denomination. We believe the scriptures in the Bible and use them to illustrate God’s hand in creation and our daily life. We pray each day before we get started on our artwork. We ask God to bless the work of our hands, protect us and give us revelation of His Word in our lives.
CAMP FEES:
Please submit this registration form pages 1-4 with payment.
Cost to attend:
Registration Fee: $ 35/ Sibling registration fee $25 ($10 discount)
Weekly Camp Fee: $100 (European Tour-$110)
All art supplies provided by Alabaster Artwork including artist sketchbook, eraser and pencil.
CAMP TIMES: 9am-Noon (exception: European Tour)
CAMP PICK-UP/DROP-OFF TIMES:
Morning drop off begins at 8:45am
Pick-up is from 12:00-12:15pm
European Tour session ends at 12:15 and pick-up is from 12:15-12:30)
CAMP REGISTRATION:
To register: please fill out this form and sign it. Then, mail it with payment to the address at the top of this form. You can also email it back as an attachment after paying online. If you live in the area and want to drop payment in our silver mailbox, you are always welcome to do so. To pay online, you can visit our new website--alabasterartwork.com.
On the home page, click on the top menu bar that says "Alabaster Online Store". You then choose what you are buying and enter your billing information. The next step will give you the choice to pay with a credit card. You can also pay using your Paypal account.
How much do I need to send? The registration fee and at least a $50 deposit toward each week of camp your child plans to attend. If you’re doing multiple weeks and need to space payments out, that is fine. You are welcome to send in multiple payments if it works better for your budget.
What is the deadline? The deadline for your child’s registration fee and camp deposit to be paid in full is one week prior to the start of camp. These deadlines are listed next to each camp session. These deadlines are only valid given there are still spaces available. We only register six campers per weekly session.
When is the balance due? The balance is due by the Monday the camp session starts.
Registration Note: Your child’s space is not guaranteed until you have paid for their first week’s deposit, registration fee and reserved any additional weeks with a $50 deposit. Group size is limited and supplies are ordered ahead of time. You are not required to register for consecutive weeks but may do so.
Availability Note: Certain themes are more popular than others. Please make sure you are registered for a certain week if your child definitely wants to participate in a particular theme. Please put your child’s name on each check (memo section) for proper credit.
Credits: Credits are issued under certain circumstances. If there is a life-threatening situation in the family, a credit will be issued. If a parent contacts us at least 7 days prior to the start of a camp session and needs to change weeks due to extenuating circumstances, the accommodation will be made if the week desired is not full. If the circumstances are not dire and unforeseen, the parent will need to honor their commitment to send their child to camp according to the registration contract they signed. A refund will not be issued and all refunds are completely at the discretion of Alabaster Artwork.
Sickness: If a child is unable to attend the full week of camp due to a sickness, the child is welcome to come to our make-up day on Thursday, July 25th from 1pm-3pm to complete the work that was missed.
FOOD & CLOTHING GUIDELINES:
All Campers: Please send all children with a morning snack. Bottled water will be provided.
Clothing: We do provide aprons but playclothes are best in case of accidents. Acrylic paint does stain and we cannot be responsible for any damage caused.
PARENT’S AGREEMENT
I give permission to Alabaster Artwork Christian Summer Camp and Elizabeth Winters serving as Director to care for my child during the time he/she is on the premises and to secure emergency medical care for my child if the Camp is unable to reach me.

I also give permission to Alabaster Artwork to photograph my child while participating in artistic activities--for publicity purposes only--to be posted on the Alabaster Artwork website or in other publicity such as their ads in Kids & Family Directory. I understand there is no guarantee that my child’s photograph will be chosen. I understand Alabaster uses a variety of photographs to show parents and potential students the different activities they offer.
