Summer Camp in July 2014

We will be offering camp for three weeks this summer. July 14-18 will be "Horses Wild". We will go on an "African Safari" for the following week, July 21-25. We will escape into the garden to discover "Garden Flowers & Frogs" from July 28-Aug 1st before having to return to our schoolwork. More info will be available soon. Our camps are only a limited number of weeks this summer while Eliza earns her teaching certificate. Next summer, we will be back to our wider variety of art camps. Thank you for your interest in art and Alabaster Artwork :)

The Summer Camp schedule is now available!!!!

We are excited to announce our line-up of Weekly Summer Camp sessions that range from our "Barnyard Crazy" to our most-attended "Garden Flowers & Frogs". You know we have the girly stuff covered from "Poodle in Paris" to "Fashion Runway: Paris". We obviously aspire to make it to Paris one day, but in the meantime we're going to enjoy all their great art, fashion design and crazy little hats called berets. Registration is limited to six campers per week.

If you have an artist who is already well-versed in the art world, you'll want to check-out our European Tour. This special week focuses on the artists behind Dutch, French and Italian masterpieces that led fascinating lives which included financially trying times in spite of the fact their work is now worth millions of dollars. Their perseverance in the face of hardship is an encouragement for us all regardless of our area of work.

We offer something fun for artists of all ages. Some weeks are designated for the youngest artists, but these designations are to be used as general guidelines. We understand that some of the younger ones have been practicing--a lot--and can keep up with the big kids. To those kiddos, we say kudos. Through encouragement, instruction and practice, practice, practice, each child has the ability to create wonderful, beautiful artwork. We're so glad we have the privilege of being part of their lives. You are always welcome to call Eliza with any questions concerning camp curriculum, policy or guidelines on her cell at 985-502-7250. Happy Summer!
